Water: drought-tolerant once established, at around 3 feet
high. Better blooming occurs with regular watering. Water infrequently but
deeply. In the second year, Gauras can be watered as little as twice a month
with proper mulching. Water when the first couple of inches of soil are dry.
Soil: sandy or fertile, moist but well-drained
soils. Tolerates well-draining clay. Acidic, neutral to acidic, slightly
alkaline.

Fertilize: minimal once established, once it reaches 3
feet high
